What is ART ?

Art is created with imagination, creativity and individuality. It could be anything from painting to creative writing, a theatrical performance, like a play or an opera, a film, a cartoon or a computer graphic and many more. It may not look like art to you but it might to some one else. In many cultures, art has a practical purpose and is often linked to life and death. The likes can be seen in spiritual dances involing things like masks and body paint. The process of creating art is often more important to the artist than the final piece. Most importantly, each persons opinion about art is unique and valid.

Where is ART?

Art is all around us. Inside your home, in books, music, schools, churches, museums and perforance. It can also be found in furniture, buildings and clothing. Some people believe nature is ART.

Who are ARTISTS?

An artist is somone who creates out of his/her imagination. Artists can make you feel emotions, recall memories, or think about the world in a new way. Any one can be an artist, because everyone has the ability to create.
