Here at Katrina Browne London™ we aim to reflect & project through our clothing, what is Fashion and up to the minute in the latest trends of streetwear in London and the rest of the UK. As we are based in London we use Our Capital as our frame of reference for what will be the trends for the rest of the country, as Music influences Fashion and Fashion reflects Music Styles, we constant intertwine and fuse the two by connecting our label to Music and Curent Performing Artist.

As we grow we also want to give back to the place where we are from 'the Streets' hence our slogan 'The Streets is where Our Heart Is'

Katrina Browne herself is also directly linked to Local Communties on all levels from working in Primary and Secondary Schools, Youth Clubs and Universities her skills as a Creative Designer are transferable to Mentoring & Creative Community based Projects with Young People those who may seek employment in these fields... Projects have included Arts & Crafts Workshops and After-School Clubs, Children's Fashion Designer Parties, Photography, Creative Design and Graphics, Mentoring in small groups of young People and Freelance Summer Workshops within Various London Boroughs.

RichieRich DJ/Producer Wearing Drop Da Gunz @ MTV Hugo Boss awards

There are many 'Positive' sides of Street-Life like our very own home grown styles of Music & the Pioneers of it like the Artist, Producers, DJ's & Event Promoters, A lively RaveScene which supports home grown talent, All Dayers in Parks giving Talent a platform to Perform to Notting Hill Carnival and other Carnivals across the Country but the Streets have a darker side...Street Crime. Which is Largely POVERTY DRIVEN.

Thinking about ways to solve this problem through the tools she masters Katrina decided to Design a set of Logo's which could and would make a Positive Impact on Young Lives  ®.

Katrina came up with the idea for Drop The Guns aka Drop Da Gunz/Knives as far back as 2004 but it remained as sketches and a rough variation of ideas in one of her sketckbooks. Taking this idea further when the label came into fruitation to do something for Anti-Gun and Anti Knife Crime on our streets. The Design was one of the 1st to printed up...

ANTI GUN

To help to tackle Youth Gun and Knife Street Crime, we have actively been involved in Community Events Like Peace in The Streets with WCEN & STORM in Battersea South London where our Logo was Licenced to them to use and Promote their event which helped to Develop Positive Mental Attitudes among the youth through talks and Performances.

ANTI KNIFE

Drop The Guns Vest

Here are both Logo's intertwined.

® Drop the Guns is now becoming very known with many sales of the Print on T-shirts and Hoodies the plan is to make it a logo used National in the UK by all as awareness of the Gun and Knife Crime problem has been hitting the headlines recently.

We have taken it on ourselves to start a MASSIVE campaign in association with other Community Groups, where a percentage of sales of the Garments carrying the Drop The Guns & Drop The Knives Print will go towards community grass roots projects who work with socially deprived youths within the Capital. Planning stages for this campaign are well on the way...Watch This Space...It's gonna be BIG!
