14 Kirkgate or more known as 'Grapes Cottage' is an enchanting semi-detached Cumbrian cottage in the delightful Georgian market town of Cockermouth, just outside the Lake District. This newly renovated former Inn retains its period charm fused with the modern interior design. The cottage sleeps six people in two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.
Grapes Cottage is an 18th century former Inn converted into a holiday cottage situated at the foot of Cockermouth's All Saints Church. The Cottage is in the small market town of Cockermouth. Grapes Cottage has been awarded 3 Stars from the English Tourist Board 2008.

The self-catering cottage sleeps up to 6 people, with the bedrooms split over 2 floors, two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. 14 Kirkgate has just been newly renovated to a high standard which is fully equipped with everything which you would need in a self catering holiday property. 14 kirkgate has a light and airy feel achieved through the beautiful decoration and furnishings as well as the retention of the period features such as the exposed beams in the second floor master bedroom. Cockermouth is the birthplace of William Wordsworth, and has a number of popular visitor attractions such as: Wordsworth House, Jennings Brewery, The Sheep and Wool Centre, The Castlegate Gallery and the Kirkgate Centre and also opposite is the famous Bitter End pub with its own brewery. The Town also has a host of pubs, restaurants & cafes. Cockermouth is only 12 miles from Keswick and the popular lakes of Bassenthwaite, Loweswater and Buttermere are approximately a 10 minute drive away.
