Summer School with Tati Hafsa and Pauline Qu:

Summer School intensive (pre booking required): Every Tuesday 6.30 - 8.30pm and Wednesday 7.00-9.00pm, at the Todo Latino Dance Studio at the Arts Organisation from 1 July to 4 August.

Course content: Egyptian style with Tati Hafsa and British Tribal Style Bellydance with Pauline Qu. Length: 5 weeks, 15hrs of lesson in total. As well as working on new moves and routines, students will work with sticks, veils, swords, drums and zills.

Intermediate Level Workshops:

A two-hour workshop will be held every last Thursday of the month, from 5.30-7.30pm starting in May. The dates already booked are:

  • 30th July 5.30-7.30 - Saiidi (with or without stick)
  • 27th August 5.30-7.30 - Undulation and fluid moves - Taqsims  
  • 24th September 5.30-7.30 - Dancing with props: veils, wings and zills.

 

All these workshops will tackle technique, improvisation and a short routine to follow. Please note these are all improvers/intermediate level, so you need to be confident with the basic moves before attending any of these.

 

The price for each individual workshop is £10.
