SEA KAYAKING 
Where we combine sport, sea and adventure. 
Exploring by kayak allows you to independently discover corners of the coastline inaccessible by any other means. Kayak is one of the most popular activities we have and does not require any special physical preparation. The excursions we offer for beginners are done in 2 seat open kayaks, which are unsinkable and very stable. Before setting out to sea we do a few exercises on the beach to teach the correct use of the paddle. The excursions are always guided by monitors and accompanied by a RIB powerboat, equipped with radio, telephone and first aid kit. During the normal trip we make a stop to swim and / or visit the island Gran Meda. Routes offered are from Estartit to the Isla Meda Grande, Guix point, Pier, Tascons
Low level difficulty, duration approx. 2 hours including a swim stop of 30 min, distance 3 miles. 
Medium level difficulty, duration approx. 3hr 30 min with a swim stop of 30 min. distance 6 miles.

SNORKELLING 
We are privileged to conduct this activity in the surroundings of the Medas Islands, 12 years of protection have turned the islands into a veritable aquarium, the variety of marine life including salemas, bream, sea stars, sardines, mullet, groupers and many other fish are in abundance and accompany us in these surprising and always different trips. The activity begins with an audiovisual introduction about the flora and fauna in the shallow waters; submergible slates are taken to assist in the identification of species
There are 3 snorkelling sites at the Medas Islands. 

Embarcador (the Pier)
This zone is characterised by shallow waters, good illumination and beds of sea grass, the grass harbours a high diversity of species , there is also the possibility to see nacres, a protected species which is difficult to observe.

L'Herminia
This zone to the north of the Island Meda Pequeña is characterised by the irregularity of the coastline and its depth.  There are many different caves and tunnels (especially the Dolfin cave, light from the other side of the island can be seen shining through the tunnel). Groupers and other predator species like Dentex and Lubinas can also been found here.

Salpatxot
This zone situated to the north of Meda Grande, where the reef of the same name starts, this area hosts a quantity and variety of species, again you can discover the rich diversity of the Medas islands sea life.

Discover Scuba Diving
This is for people who have never practised the sport. It is an impressive activity and 100% safe, conducted in the sea with highly trained and qualified diving instructors who individually accompany the participants.   Before your dive you will be shown a presentation video which explains everything you need to know about a scuba dive, an instructor is with you at all times to answer any questions and helps to equip you with neoprene suits, masks and fins. Afterwards we leave by boat to "Falaguer", a sheltered and shallow bay, ideal for the first dive. The dive with a qualified instructor lasts 20 to 25 minutes, you will dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres.  Discover Scuba Diving is easy, very safe and fun, it allows you to have a first taste of this sport in a totally safe way. No previous experience or qualifications are needed.


 Bike Tours
The attractions of L'Estartit do not  finish with the sea. Along the coastline, we can enjoy the landscape of fruit trees and rice fields, following the course of the River Ter we can view the birds of Aigua Molls ( a protected nature reserve).
For those familiar with Mountain Biking there are routes to Castle Montgri, where, if you make it to the summit, you can enjoy a birds eye view of the bay of Roses.
The bikes available are touring and mountain bikes some of which are equipped with child seats.
Helmets, route maps and other complementary equipment are also available.

L'Estartit is the starting point for a network of routes with differing levels of difficulty. From the popular and very easy route between L'Estartit and Torroella which passes along the banks of the River Ter and it's estuary, to the paths of the mountainous zone which lie to the north of the town and ideal for mountain biking.
We also run special programes for companies and schools.

Light Sailing
This sport is conducted using light boats, type "Raquero", these are school boats where the students will have their first taste of navigation under the watchful eye of an instructor. The beginners excursions last for 3 hours with instruction from a licensed captain around the bay of L'Estartit. The instructor will also explain nautical terminology, safety, compasses etc.

There is an opportunity to conduct courses of 20 hours using the same light boats for the beginners levels (yellow and orange).  Expect level is conducted using "Optimist" and 420's (blue and brown)
