2008 HEALTH FIRST LEGACY PROJECT

Health First, the specialist health promotion service for Lambeth Southwark and Lewisham, will be closing its doors on the 30th June 2008 after 17 years as a leading provider and commissioner of cutting edge health improvement services and resources.  Health First was host of the first LGBT Health Summit in London in 2006 and has sponsored a legacy activity each year since.

This year, following a review of previous awards and legacy activity, an award of £2k (including VAT) is to be made for a project of activity that focuses on ageing in LGBT communities.

The activity need not be new; it could build upon an existing practice or developing a resource as part of a wider programme of work.  Of greater significance is the need to achieve the milestones set out in the application form.
