I wish to find out more about the WW1 military records for Thomas McMillan born 29 June 1887 in Govan.  I only know that his occupation was recorded as "soilder" then later "coal merchant". No idea of his Regiment. Thomas died 14 Dec 1935 in Govan.

The only address I have or him at the moment was recorded in the 1901 census which was probably too early to be of value  - 

23 Keyden Street, Govan.

There is a good chance that he was residing in the Govan area of Glasgow at the time of his enlistment.

Any help or advice on where to look would be appreciated.
