A second question. Does anyone know of the existence of any portraits or miniatures

of a 76th MacDonald Highlander officer, circa 1778-84? I noted that a new image of

Lord Charles Murray of the 77th was posted to these pages recently, so I'm hopeful

that somewhere there's something for the 76th. The 76th's uniform had deep green

facings and silver lace, and would have looked very similar to the 77th image.
