I have been researching my family tree since my father's untimely death in Edinburgh last September. As my mother is 80 in December of this year, my intention has been to create an historical family tree suitably illustrated both with calligraphy and photos of rletivs where ever possible.

My great uncle, on my mother's side, had a family photo album secreted away on the loft which was found when he died several years ago, and on looking through the contents, have noticed that several members of the family were plainly in the army. They are full resplendent in their kilted uniforms but alas, no identifiaction of who they might be. IF I could identify the uniforms and a possible date/time of the uniforms, I could then rationalise who it is likely to be.

Does anybody know how or who I could get in touch with to identify the uniforms and probable regiments? I am sure that some were Seaforth Highlanders, but past that, I do not know.

Any suggestions?
