With only 11 days till the event, with all the training coming together nicely, sponsors in place, weight sorted, I was gutted to get a call yesterday afternoon from Ian Dean from Warrior Promotions to say that the BFC has been cancelled.  David Smyth has been training his ass off for this event, as I am sure all the other fighters have too, and to find out at this late stage that the event is gone down the tubes is frustrating to say the least.  The main question though is where does this leave UK MMA........... the eyes of the MMA world have been watching this event very closely, and for it to fail like this will make more than a few people smile.
