The word of the festival has reached the Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Alberta Canada.  We Kanes in Canada are spread far and wide across the country and although far removed from Ireland, are proud Kanes no less.

My wife and I are coming to the festival and look forward to meeting the O'Cathain clan.  Our early history is fascinating to say the least and I do agree would make a great movie.  My forefathers came to the USA and settled in IOWA prior to coming to Canada in 1913.

P.S.  Dungiven Castle is quite full.  Check out Ballyhenry House in Limavady owned by Michael and Rosemary Kane who are attending the festival. Looks like a great place to stay and is in the Roe Valley.
