I have been on a pump since 17th May, after 20 years of injections as a type 1. I have chosen the Animas 2020 and I am really pleased with it and the improvements in my figures and my general well-being I am already experiencing.

I stow my pump on the elastic between the cups of my bra and just don't notice it. I cannot feel the cannula but would definitetly recommend the Inset 30 sets as you have the reassurance of actually seeing where the cannula enters the body through a clear patch in the adhesive, something you don't have with the 90degree varieties (Inset II). I place the pump in a sock at night and just have it by my side and it doesn't cause any trouble to me or my hustand. I'm not a pj wearer as you could otherwise just clip it to the waistband. It's very easy to disconnect for short periods of time which is a great bonus.

I can understand your dilemma but I think if you do make the change you are unlikely to regret it.
