Thank you

Sorry to butt in before Ibrahim has responded,, but is the former employer a public authority as defined by the FOIA?

Hi Ibrahim,

Can I request a former employer to give me the details of their previous employment Tribunal cases? To be precise, the employment tribunal case number, so I can contact the employment tribunal myself and request copies of the judgement?

According with the Employment Tribunal, the judgements are public documents so anyone can access them as long as they have the names of the parties.

Is the case number exempt under S. 40 of the FOIA?

Many Thanks

Belinda Brown
