Please can you let me know if I can release confidential medical records with a consent signed by a "Litigation Friend".  I have no other supporting court documents and when I checked with the ICO's office in March, they were unsure.  I informed the Solicitors concerned that I would not release the records without a court approved document but they have again supplied the same document, which could have been drafted up by anyone.
