FOI v LGA
by Wendy Richmond - written 02/02/2010 15:13:58
I've had a request for a full copy of a specific Cllr's Register of Members Interests.
We do not currently publish these but they are available to view at our SHQ. However, I have been quoted the IC Guidance Note 6 part which states that info only available on inspection is not considered reasonably accessible even though it is disclosed or published under statute.
Should I provide this in electronic format (as requested) to be helpful under the Act.... although we are aware that our Cllrs are not happy about this info being in the public domain anyway?
