Judges by june short - written 28/09/2009 13:04:03

Dear Ibrahim

I took a case to court as a litigant in person.  My case was summarily struck out by a Deputy District Judge and I had to pay all costs.  I later discovered the DDJ was the senior partner of a firm that had previously given free advice on the matter.  (When I complained to the firm, the solicitor who provided the advice said I was not their client and they had no knowledge of the claim I was pursuing)

What happens in a case like this?  The Judgment is continuing to be relied on by solicitors acting for the defendants.

Many thanks

June
