There is no proof that your god doesn't exist. There is neither any proof that your god does exist. Since it is you who claims your gods exists, then if you are to invoke science at all, the burden of proof that your god exists falls upon you. If you can't prove your god exists, then leave science out of it. That's how it works around here.
There is no proof fairies don't exist either. Where's the proof Orks don't exist? Do you see the difficulty with where you've positioned yourself?
And isn't it somewhat heretical to claim that god has "forgotten" anything? Surely that would make him fallible. But that's a different story.
If man was made in God's image and God has both created and destroyed because of His love for us. Isn't it possible that the very science being used to disprove Him may be the image He was referring to - Science gives us the ability to create and destroy, to learn and understand. We will never understand one fraction of His works, yet we have just enough scientific knowledge to fully realise just how complex and magnificent His works are on this planet, thanks to the inquisitive minds he gave us all. There is no proof He doesn't exist, no matter how hard people try to deny Him. He has forgotten more than we will ever know.
