Do you know what area they lived in as this may help in locating the nearest churchyard or cemetery? The nearest crematoria is Charing. I don't know whether they hold records. The above link contains their number but I don't know whether you may have to be the next of kin to be given any info


As a stab in the dark - seeing as they both came from the same area of Sussex could they have been buried back there?


I will ask at the next meeting to see if the name is familiar to anyone. If you can give anymore info about the couple (where they lived, worked etc) it may jog a few memories.
