Double Gloucester rebuild by Stuart Jobbins - written 04/07/2017 08:20:15

My pre-owned Double Gloucester (316 BAD) was hurriedly made 'road-ready' when I was 16 (1976). Having not ridden this since 1978, I recently rescued it from the rats and have completely broken it down ready to strip to bare metal and re-build.

Any info on frame info, dimensions, sources of replacement bolts, servicing dampers, electrics etc welcomed.

2T engine and gearbox will be rebuilt, but plenty of local support for that. (Straight) Kickstart lever must be wrong as always fouled RHS silencer.

I'll probably change to a 'Continental' colour scheme in due course!
