hello kate,  yes the cottages are still there, and the station buildings,  they are now part of ian weirs holiday complex,  no doubt he could help you with your research,  rob

My husband's great uncle, Malcolm McDonald (1859-1942) was a platelayer with the Caledonian Railway, and married to Emily, with sons Alexander, Angus and Donald.  He lived at Creagan Railway Station in 1906 when Angus was born and from 1911 until he died he lived at "Station Cottage"/"Railway Cottages", Appin.  I am interested to know if anyone knows anything about his family and if these houses are still there.  Thanks.  Kate
