Hi Rob,

Just came back to this post today. Excuse the long delay please. I live in Canada so it would be difficult to call the number you wrote. Is there any other way to get in touch with Ian McKenzie?

Thank you for replying, Nan

Appin Cemetery wrote (23/05/2013 20:52:25):

It's possible that my 2x great grandparents were buried in Appin. John Clark aged 64 years died 10 April 1870 in West Laroch, Glencoe and Ballachulish, Argyllshire. His wife Catherine Clark MS McDonald aged 83 years died 7 March 1895 also in West Laroch. Catherine gave her birthplace as either Appin or Balachulish in various census years. I have found several of John's siblings buried at St. John's Episcol Church Cemetery in Ballachulish but there is no sign there of either of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
