How do I purchase an additional domain name?

If you want to purchase any additional domain names for your site, log in to your Takeaway Website account at www.mrsite.co.uk/create and click the ‘Manage my account’ tab, followed by ‘Manage my add-ons’. Click on ‘Buy now’ next to ‘Additional domain name’.

On the following page, click the ‘Buy now’ button and you will be asked to enter the domain name you’d like to purchase. Please note, you will not need to add to type the www. into this box. From the drop down list, select the relevant domain name extension.

Click on the 'Check availability' button and if this domain name is available, a blue ‘Buy it now’ button will appear. If the domain is not available, the screen will display 'This domain is already taken' – you can either type a new name into the box or select another extension and try again.

When you are happy with your choice of name, click ‘Buy it now’ and you will be taken through to the payments page – complete your details as necessary and click the orange ‘Proceed to checkout & pay’ button. Once you have successfully completed the payment process, you will be able to print off a receipt for your records by clicking on the 'My payments' tab in ‘My account’. Just click on the relevant payment to see the corresponding receipt.

If you now go back to the ‘Manage my account’ tab and click on ‘Manage my domains’, you will see your new domain name has been added in the ‘Domain manager’ list. You will also notice there is a green tick under ‘Is live’, which indicates that this domain name is now linked to your Takeaway Website.
