What is the difference between the email version and the boxed version of Mr Site's "Takeaway Website"?

The boxed version is attractively packaged complete with a user manual, a certificate of ownership and activation code. The email version is the same product without the packaging, which means you don't have to wait for the postman to deliver it. Instead, you will be sent an activation code via email which will allow you to set up your Mr Site website straight away. A printable instruction manual will be attached to the email.

Will you display adverts on my website?

We never display banner ads on your website. We think your website should belong to you, and to you alone.

Will I get after sales support should I have trouble with my website?

You will get 24 hour email support from the dedicated Mr Site team.

How many pages can I have on my website?

You can have up to 50 pages on your website with Mr Site Standard, and up to 100 with Mr Site Pro.

Can I have any name I want?

You can have any website name you want as long as it hasn't already been taken by someone else. If someone else does have your preferred website name, you will definitely be able to get a variation on it.

Do you provide domains other than a dot com?

Yes. You can also choose a ".net", ".org", ".info", ".biz", ".org.uk", ".me.uk". If you're desired domain name isn't on the list then it may not be supported, in which case please phone our office.

I already have my own dot com/dot co.uk name. Can I use it with your service?

Yes. Mr Site will give you full instructions on how to use your current name with our service when you sign up.

Can I change my website name?

You can change your website name if you want to for an administrative fee of £14.99

Will Mr Site work on my computer?

Mr Site works on any PC with Internet Explorer, AOL or Firefox, or on Apple Mac OSX with Safari or Firefox web browsers. You will also need a connection to the Internet. We recommend a broadband connection, but dial up connections will work fine. Please note that although AOL is support, the browser supplied with AOL is not recommended, you can however easily use another browser.

How much web space do I get?

You will get 150Mb of web space for your website and email mailbox. This means that you can put masses of pictures, movies and music onto your site. For Mr Site Pro users, you are allowed 600Mb of web space.

How much bandwidth do I get?

You get 2gb bandwidth per month for Mr Site Standard, and unlimited bandwidth per month for Mr Site Pro users.

How big is my email inbox?

You will get 150Mb of space for your website and email mailbox. This means you can send and store hundreds of emails and photographs without always having to worry about running out of space! There is no limit to the size of attachments that you can send and receive.

Do I get junk mail and virus protection?

Mr Site emails are screened for viruses, spam and junk mail.

Can I change my website design?

You can change your website design at any time with just the click of a few buttons. The Mr Site team is constantly adding new designs, so check them out every few weeks!

Do I have to use a Mr Site design? Can I use web design packages such as Frontpage to create my own design?

You do not have to use a Mr Site design. You can use web design packages at any time if you wish.

Are there any connection costs or hidden costs?

There are absolutely NO connection costs with Mr Site. As with any personalised website or email address, Mr Site is subscription based. You can renew your subscription a year from purchase if you want to for only £2.90 a month. There are NO hidden costs when you use Mr Site.

What about renewal?

For Mr Site Standard users, you can renew if you want to in a year for only £2.90 a month with no hidden costs. The current renewal cost for Mr Site Pro users is £7.99 a month. Please note that renewal is annually.

Can I sell goods online?

Yes. Mr Site has an easy to use shopping cart so you can sell goods on your website.
