October website of the Month

We want to inspire you all with a great example of an online shop! Our Website of the Month for October was created by Chris Hackman and as you'll see, it shows the standard of what can be achieved with a Mr Site box and a bit of creativity!
'Using and updating the PayPal shopping cart on my website is a simple process with professional results. It's quick and easy to add, edit or remove items and having the option to have multiple shop pages is great for setting up categories.
As I only trade online, having a website is essential and Mr Site has all the features I need for now and to help me expand in the future.'

October competition winner

Thank you to everyone who submitted their PR themed stories for last month's competition. We saw some great entries and were really impressed all your brilliant coverage. Our winner this month is Jon Earle from www.songsfromtheshed.com.
"I started the website in June 2009 after a conversation in a pub, which has quickly grown from a 'hobby' into a site that is in demand from internet surfers and musicians across the world. The shed has quickly gained a reputation as a quirky and fun way for bands and musicians to get a performance online.
The Water Tower Bucket Boys from Portland Oregon were the first international band to play in the shed and they followed up their session in the shed with a live session on Mark Lamarr's Radio 2 show. On the 7th September, I sent out my first press release to the press and the response was instant with the phone ringing within half an hour! In the following days, the story appeared as a quarter page in The Western Daily Press and as a full page feature in The Bristol Evening Post.
